I bought a Fender 1961 Precision for a great price but it didn’t come with the original neck. In fact, it had a 1968 precision neck on the bass. It sounded great but when CBS bought fender they made many changes. One change was switching from a C style neck to a B size neck. While it still sounded great the neck didn’t really fit. There were buzzes in the upper register that no matter what I did I couldn’t fix it. When i took the neck off and installed in a a modern Fender (MIM) precision. There was no buzzes. I knew I had to find a C style neck. When I came across a 1962 precision neck on eBay being sold by Good Bridge music, I immediately contacted them. I explained my situation. They responded with a great offer to buy a vintage ‘62 neck. I couldn’t refuse. Within a week they mailed the neck. I immediately cleaned and installed the neck onto my ‘61 precision body, it fit like a glove. The neck was straight and had no issues whatsoever. Now, even though I don’t have an totally original Pre-CBS precision bass, I got the next best thing. The bass sounds great with no buzzes whatsoever. Thank you Konstantine for your understanding and totally professional service
