Up for sale is a heavily played and seriously cool 1970-1971 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in Cherry Sunburst , loaded with decades of KILLER natural wear, checking, patina, modifications, and genuine player-grade mojo .

This is not a collector-grade or fully original example . At some point in its life, the guitar was routed from its factory-style mini-humbucker cavities to full-size humbucker routing , and the routes were later filled/reworked back to accept mini-humbuckers . The finish has an unusual appearance in areas, although it reportedly fluoresces under black light in a manner consistent with an aged vintage finish . That observation alone should not be treated as definitive proof that every area of the finish is factory original.

The result is a great-looking vintage Gibson for someone who values real playwear, modifications, and player-grade character over untouched originality.

PLAYER-GRADE VINTAGE - KILLER WEAR & MOJO

This Les Paul has lots of genuine-looking age and playwear throughout. Expect scratches, dents, dings, finish checking, edge wear, finish loss, hardware aging, oxidation, and other signs of decades of use.

The previous full-size humbucker routing and subsequent conversion back to mini-humbucker routing is a permanent modification and should be considered an important part of the guitar's condition and value.

The finish looks somewhat unusual in areas. It reportedly glows under black light like an aged vintage finish , but because of the guitar's extensive modification history, I would not represent the finish as unquestionably 100% factory-original throughout without further inspection .

The pickups are also not being represented as untouched originals. Their 15K neck / 25K bridge readings are exceptionally high for conventional vintage Gibson mini-humbuckers , making a previous rewind/modification a reasonable possibility.
