Up for sale is a 1979-1980 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Wine Red , featuring a beautiful maple top and original Gibson hardshell case . This guitar has the legendary Norlin-era tone and sustain, powered by its 1980-stamped original humbuckers and 1979-1980 CTS pots — delivering tight low-end , complex mids , and that unmistakable Les Paul growl when cranked.

This one is all original except for the tuners, strap buttons, truss rod cover , and a Kahler locking nut installation . The original case is fully functional, with one latch replaced .

Cosmetically, it's in very good condition , showing natural player wear including dings, scratches, and buckle rash , all consistent with a well-loved late-'70s rock machine. The neck is straight , with a fast '60s-style taper , low action , and frets in excellent condition — barely any wear.
