Up for sale is a 2012 Jason Davis Master Builder 1960s-style Stratocaster body , finished in striking Canary Yellow with an extremely convincing Heavy Relic treatment.

Jason Davis is a former Fender Custom Shop Master Builder ; available historical references place him at the Fender Custom Shop from its early years through 2004. This body was built after his Fender tenure , so it should be advertised as Jason Davis-built rather than as a Fender Custom Shop body unless documentation specifically establishes otherwise.

The relic work is heavy, organic, and beautifully executed, with extensive finish checking, chips, rubbed-through areas, dents, and naturally styled wear that gives it the appearance of a genuinely road-worn vintage Strat.

At only 4.1 lbs , the body is lightweight and is described as exceptionally lively and resonant when tapped acoustically.
